Triple Five plans to build a massive multi-billion dollar project in Miami-Dade County, reports South Florida Business Journal.
The project would include a theme park, mall and entertainment venues.Recently, the company shared its plans for Americana World, now known as American Dream Miami, with county officials.
The project would be located on a site of about 200 acres with access from Interstate 75 and the Florida Turnpike where they intersect at end of Miami Gardens Drive. This section of the northwest part of the county is inside the Urban Development Boundary but lightly developed. The land is currently vacant of agricultural and many of the surrounding uses are heavy industrial or rock mining.
However, the highways provide easy access to heavily populated areas like Doral, Hialeah, West Miami, Miramar, Pembroke Pines, Davie and Weston.
