Tim Wagoner has joined Stantec as project director for the Buildings Group in Florida. He will be located in the Orlando, office, the company said in a news release.

Stantec says Wagoner has more than two decades of experience providing architectural design services and project management for public and private sector education clients.

“Having worked collaboratively with Tim over the years, I can confidently say that he is a great addition to the Stantec team,” said Jim Chatas, senior principal in Stantec’s Buildings Group. “As a lifelong resident in Florida and an architect who specializes in education, he combines his love of his home state with a deep understanding of learning environments to bring high quality results to his clients.”

Wagoner earned his master of architecture from the University of Florida. Since then, he has worked on 25 campuses in Florida throughout the past 20 years. The news release says he has experience designing nearly every space found on an educational campus – from academic space, computer labs, testing centers, student services, and libraries, to offices, recreation, and even physical plants. “Having designed over two million sf of educational projects has afforded Wagoner a clear understanding of 21st century and self-directed learning environments, integration of technology, and what constitutes a collaborative K-12 or collegiate environment,” the Stantec announcement said.
