Construction has started on a 94,440-sq. ft. expansion and renovation of B&I Contractors in Fort Myers, a leading mechanical, electrical and plumbing specialty contractor, announced Mark Stevens, president, Stevens Construction, Inc.
Stevens Construction is providing construction management services for a new 12,000-square-foot metal building that will serve as office space, and a new 37,000-sq. ft. building that will have 5,775 sq. ft. of office space and 31,225 sq. ft. of manufacturing space.

The project team includes Project Manager Mike Alisea, Superintendents Jeff Brunderman and Yoendry Campos Martinez and Project Administrator Gina Varner. Studio AD is the architect of record and Quattrone & Associates is the civil engineer.
Work will also expand the existing building by 41,440 sq. ft. to serve as manufacturing space, as well as renovating a 4,000-sq. ft. mezzanine into office space.
The project accommodates B&I Contractor’s continued growth and investment in the Southwest Florida community. Located at 2701 Prince St. in Fort Myers, the upgraded facilities will support B&I’s ongoing commitment to innovation, training and operational excellence as the company continues to expand its statewide footprint.
