Shawmut has started construction on 2000 Wynwood, a 12-story, 380,000-square-foot mixed-use development in Miami’s Wynwood neighborhood.
The project at 2000 North Miami Avenue will include 310 residential units, 12,500 square feet of ground-floor retail, 308 parking spaces, and 141 bike racks. The site is located on a walkable, transit-accessible corridor.
>Shawmut is serving as the construction manager for the project. The building was designed by architecture firm LEO A DALY, with engineering provided by Langan and landscape architecture by Naturalficial. Planned amenities for residents include an art studio, fitness center, coworking and conference spaces, a courtyard with a pool, and a multi-functional area serving as a game room, social lounge, and clubhouse.
2000 Wynwood is the second development built in partnership by Shawmut and Clearline, following the recent topping off of Excel Miami, a 24-story residential tower in the Arts & Entertainment District.
Shawmut’s Florida portfolio includes Town Vineland in Orlando, Manor Miramar in Miramar, Apogee Club in Hobe Sound, Waterway Café in Palm Beach, and work at the Fort Lauderdale Marriott North.
