SchenkelShultz Architecture recently announced that it prominently ranks among Building Design + Construction magazine’s 2014 Giants 300 Report, which was published by the magazine its July 2014 issue.

Further, the company said that it that, nationally, it ranks as the 14th largest architectural firm in the Airport Terminal Sector and 20th largest in the K-12 Schools Sector. The Giants 300 Report is the publication’s annual ranking of the nation’s largest architectural, engineering and construction firms.

Additionally, SchenkelShultz said that it ranks as the Southeast’s third largest Education/Research Design Firm and seventh largest Architecture Firm according to ENR Southeast’s 2014 Top Design Firms survey.

SchenkelShultz serves as general consultant for the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority and created the concept and visionary planning for the new Intermodal Terminal at Orlando International Airport that will serve as a central hub for integrated air, ground and rail transportation connecting the Central Florida community on a local, state and global level.

In addition, the company has designed Fixed Base Operator (FBO) Terminals at numerous international airports for Signature Flight Support. Included are state-of-the-art FBOs at Boston-Logan, Chicago O’Hare, Indianapolis, Newark, Palm Beach, Palm Springs and San Francisco, as well as the newest FBO Terminal and Hangar at Norman Y. Mineta San José International Airport, which will serve many clients in the Silicon Valley business community, including Google.

SchenkelShultz designed more than 50 million square feet of K-12 schools (including over 4.9 million sq. ft. of 21st Century Schools), SchenkelShultz is currently designing more than 1.5 million square feet of 21st Century Schools for the Department of Defense for Education Activity (DoDEA). The firm is designing five new schools on U.S. Army and Air Force bases in Germany, as well as programming and planning for seven projects within the U.S. and Europe.
