Scanlon Auto Group recently began construction of a new Acura dealership in Fort Myers, reports Cape Coral Daily Breeze.
Scanlon’s Acura dealership will represent the latest “Generation III” Model Acura facility and the first of its kind in Southwest Florida.Owen-Ames-Kimball Co. will serve as the design/build team on the Acura project along with Ramon Acevedo, AIA of GMA Architects Planners as the project architect.
According to OAK, the new dealership will encompass an 11,000-square-foot floor plan aligning with the latest in Acura design elements. A two-bay enclosed and air conditioned new-car delivery area will also be added. Features will include tile flooring throughout both showroom and service shop work areas. Design intent will convey an abundance of exterior natural light throughout. Interior appointments and furnishings will reflect the latest in style and design.
A car wash facility will be constructed to service customers along with a complementary coffee bar, waiting room and available Wi-Fi connection.
Plans call for completion by late summer 2014.
