The Safety Alliance for Excellence (SAFE) meeting on March 9 in Miami includes two free presentations.

  • Criminal Prosecution for Safety ViolationsJosh Higgins, attorney, Kelley Kronenberg – This seminar will provide information on avoiding criminal prosecution from the result of a worksite fatality and a willful OSHA citation issued against a company. A recent agreement with the U.S. Department of Justice gives bite to OSHA’s bark in criminal cases.
  • South Florida Safety; A Consultants View – Philip Nanna, president, Safety & Risk Solutions – A consultant can bring a unique and unbiased perspective on the observations noted on different construction sites. What works? What doesn’t work?
