Rieber Developments has broken ground on a mixed-use tower in Aventura.

Dubbed 12|12 Aventura, the building will serve as the centerpiece of the Aventura Health District. The site is located at 21290 Biscayne Blvd.

The $100-million project will feature medical and professional offices, senior residential units and a retail space.

Designed by Arquitectonica, the 10-story building will include 25,000 sq. ft. of office condo and a 160-unit senior residential component.

The tower will have a commercial retail space of 30,000 sq. ft.
