Construction has begun on Cruise Terminal G at PortMiami, a $345 million project designed to accommodate up to 7,000 passengers and the newest generation of cruise ships, including Royal Caribbean’s Icon-class vessels.

The terminal is being delivered under a design-build contract by the Lemartec-NV2A Joint Venture in partnership with Perez & Perez Architects & Planners. The facility will include a single-berth cruise terminal, a multi-level parking garage, an intermodal transportation hub, and other infrastructure to support large vessels and streamline passenger flow.

The terminal is designed to meet LEED certification standards and incorporate energy-efficient technology. Cruise Terminal G will maintain multi-vessel functionality while providing efficient embarkation and disembarkation for Royal Caribbean Group brands, including Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises, and Silversea.

The project’s architecture is intended to enhance PortMiami’s skyline and support the city’s waterfront development, contributing to tourism and regional economic growth.

Completion of Cruise Terminal G is expected in late 2027. Funding is provided through a partnership between Miami-Dade County and Royal Caribbean Group, reflecting a strategic investment in PortMiami’s terminal capacity and infrastructure.
