Orange Park Medical Center is stating a $126-million expansion project to expand its facilities in Clay County.
The project includes construction of four floors of space on top of the hospital’s emergency room, reports The Florida Times Union.
The addition adds 101,435 sq. ft. and 48 beds, bringing the hospital’s beds to 365. The hospital also plans to build new electrophysiology lab, dining room and kitchen, medical offices space and expansion of the neonatal intensive care unit.
Construction on the four-story project is expected to start this fall, with a spring 2021 date for opening.
