New South Construction Supply, a North-Carolina headquartered distributor of construction products to commercial and residential general contractors and subcontractors across the Southeastern U.S., says it has acquired Increte of North Florida, a concrete construction material distributor and supplier based in Jacksonville.

“I am happy to welcome Grant Denny, president and CEO of Increte of North Florida, and his employees to the New South team,” New South president and CEO Jim Sobeck said in a statement. “We look forward to learning more about the road and bridge business from them and expanding their business into the fabricated rebar and the tilt-up construction space. For our first foray into Florida, we could not think of a better fit for our business and for our customers.

The acquisition was finalized on Nov. 1, and Increte of North Florida will maintain operations under the New South Construction Supply name. This acquisition will result in New South Construction Supply’s first location in Florida, where NSCS looks to do business with more companies in the state and also in the Caribbean, the company says.
