T.D. Farrell Construction Inc. has filed two building permit applications with an overall value of $12,623,822 to build a new Costco Wholesale in Jacksonville.

The permits call for a 154,568 sq. ft. warehouse plus a fuel station with eight islands for 16 automobiles at 7935 Parramore Rd.

The Florida Times-Union reports Costco Wholesale Corp. recently paid $3,442,065 for the 15.9 acre site off Collins Rd. just west of Interstate 295.

The company has still not acknowledged the new store, but it has been in discussions with the property owner since 2013, the Times-Union says.
