New York- based developer KAR Properties commenced the foundation pour on Saturday, June 29 for 2000 Ocean in Hallandale Beach.

General contractor Suffolk Construction worked with Ozinga for the 13-hour pour, which began at 2:00 a.m. and lasted until 3:00 p.m. The pour required 240 concrete trucks and 500 tons of steel and marked one of the largest cement pours of the last decade in Hallandale Beach.
