Legacy Harbour Marina, a longtime destination on the Caloosahatchee River in downtown Fort Myers, is being rebuilt after sustaining severe damage from Hurricane Ian in 2022.
AIRN Management, LLC, which owns the marina, has partnered with Bellingham Marine to oversee the redevelopment. Construction began earlier this year, with reopening planned for the first quarter of 2026.
“This marina has always played an important role in the Fort Myers boating community,” said Rick Budd, chief executive officer of AIRN Management. “We’re committed to restoring Legacy Harbour in a way that not only honors its history, but brings in modern improvements and safeguards for the future.”
Legacy Harbour covers eight acres of submerged land and 4.6 acres of upland property. The marina offers direct access to the Gulf of Mexico and is within walking distance of Fort Myers’ River District.
Slip reservations are expected to open about six months before the 2026 reopening.
