Jacksonville-based LandSouth Construction says project coordinator Aurora Klein and project superintendent Chris Lowe have been named winners of the firm’s 2017 Diamond Award.

“The Diamond Award is voted on by the employees based on which team members best represented the company’s core values during the calendar year,” LandSouth president and CEO James Pyle said in a statement. “Our team emphasizes results and exceptional service, allowing us to create a construction process that provides the best possible value for clients.”

In the past 19 years, LandSouth has completed more than 15,000 multifamily units including apartments, hotels, senior living, student and military housing, condominiums, townhomes and mixed use projects.

Klein joined LandSouth Construction in 2016. She was promoted to project coordinator in October and since then has taken on more responsibility.

Her duties include organizing project set-ups as well as kick-off and closeout meetings. A key liaison between the field and office, she also trains project and field administrators. She manages warranties, safety committees and new project permit applications.

“Effective communication is vital to the success of a project. At both the internal and external level, clients have come to expect a high-level of interaction and the project coordinator is instrumental to accomplishing that goal,” said Pyle.

Lowe started in commercial and residential remodeling in 1988. He joined LandSouth Construction in 2014.

Lowe ensures that the project is built according to plans, specifications, regional and state codes, and to LandSouth and owner quality standards. Lowe graduated from FSU with a Major in the Business.

LandSouth Construction is currently working on apartments, senior living and mixed-use developments throughout the Southeast including Lawrenceville, GA., Boynton Beach, Daytona Beach, Delray Beach, Sanford, Lakeland, Davenport, Casselberry, Odessa, Winter Springs and Orlando F., Chattanooga, TN, Mt. Pleasant, SC and senior living developments in Nocatee, Bonita Springs and Fort Myers FL.
