Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson, Inc. (JMT) and Bayside Engineering, Inc. have announced Bayside’s acquisition by JMT. “The combination of the firms broadens JMT’s Florida footprint while providing Bayside’s existing clients with multi-disciplined engineering/architecture support,” JMT said in a news release.

Bayside has been prominent in the Florida engineering community since its establishment in Tampa in 1994. The firm specializes in transportation and traffic design, surface water management, site engineering, construction engineering and inspection, and surveying and mapping. Bayside’s commitment to individualized attention and superior service has led to continued success throughout west Florida. Among Bayside’s public and private clients are the Florida Department of Transportation, City of Tampa, Pinellas County, and many other municipal, county, and state agencies, as well as architects and developers.
