The Orlando Fire Department says an I-4 Ultimate construction worker was struck by a 60 ft., 7,000 pound pipe on Sept. 13 in downtown Orlando.

The worker was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center with a leg injury, firefighters said.

SGL Constructors, the contractor of the I-4 Ultimate Project, told WFTV the incident, which involves a subcontractor worker, is under investigation.
