Hurd Construction Management, a licensed general building headquartered in Jacksonville,  says that it has been awarded a contract by the City of Umatilla to provide construction services for an expansion to the Umatilla Community Center.

Located at 17107 Ball Park Rd., the building will be approximately 1,500 sq. ft. and will serve as an accessory structure to the community center.

Hurd says that it will use off-site building methods to provide pre-fabricated, turn-key installation including all utilities, landscaping, sidewalks, ramps, and septic system requirements. Construction will be completed in collaboration with Fabricon Modular, according to a press release.

The project’s value is approximately $300,000.

Construction is expected to start late this month and is estimated to be completed in 60 days.
