Hunter’s Creek ER files plans with Orange County for an expansion

Hunter’s Creek ER, a freestanding emergency center in Orlando, has filed plans with Orange County for an expansion. Plans propose a new 2,849 sq. ft. ambulatory surgical facility be built on an adjacent 3.6 acres. Hunter’s Creek ER is at 12100 S. John Young Pkwy. in Orlando, and the adjacent land is vacant and already owned by Osceola Regional Medical Center, the parent hospital of Hunter’s Creek ER.

HCA Holdings Inc. is the parent company of ORMC and Hunter’s Creek ER. Orlando-based Littlejohn Engineering Associates is the engineer/landscape architect and Nashville-based Hereford Dooley Architects is the architect of the project, Orlando Business Journal reports.

If approved, the project will create jobs in both construction and health care.
