Hallandale Beach City Commission approves new hotel/tower

The Hallande Beach City Commission has granted approval to Hallande Office Towers  to build the 23-story, 415,882 sq. ft. ft. tower at 900 S. Federal Highway, just west of the Village at Gulfstream Park. It has been designed by BC Architects.

The developer wants to build 320 residential units for a combined 345,093 sq. ft., 150 rooms for a 65,193 sq. ft. Marriott-branded hotel, 5,595 sq. ft. of retail and plans to include 624 parking spaces. Residential units would range from 506 to 1,561 sq. ft.

Hallande Office Towers manager Alan Waserstein was quoted as saying in South Florida Business Journal: “I think the condo market is softening up a bit but the rental market is really strong, especially in that area.”

Waserstein has signed a deal with Marriott and will seek financing for the project.
