Design-build contractor FRONTIER Building says it has broken ground on a new Burlington and Total Wine & More at 1645 NW 107 Ave. and 1635 NW 107 Ave., respectively, in Doral, near Miami International Mall. The projects are a re-development of a Toys R Us and Babies R Us stores.

The contractor says it isdemolishing and redesigning the existing façade entry for the new Burlington, as well as managing the interior build-out of the more than 42,000 sq. ft. future department store.  When completed, it will be the company’s second Burlington in South Florida.

The Total Wine will be more than 20,000 square feet and is right next to the Burlington.

Between the two projects, FRONTIER is managing the construction of more than 64,000 sq. ft. and adding 258 new parking spaces.  Both stores are scheduled for completion in the first quarter of 2021.
