FRONTIER Building has broken ground on a new Krispy Kreme Doughnuts store in Miami.

The new shop, located at 530 Northeast 167 St., is being built from the ground up next door to the existing location at 590 Northeast 167 St.

The contractor will provide its services to oversee the development of the 3,576-sq.-ft. shop, located on a 24,960 sq.-ft. lot. The new outpost will include a drive-thru and eleven parking spaces. Plans are in place for the older Krispy Kreme store to be replaced by a Wawa gas and convenience store.

Construction of the new Krispy Kreme store is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2019.
