Fort Lauderdale’s tallest tower gets construction loan

Kolter Urban, a real estate development and investment firm, announced that it secured a $25 million loan for 100 Las Olas, the tallest residential tower in Fort Lauderdale once complete. The-45 story structure will reach 499 ft. and have 121 units.

Located on East Las Olas Blvd. and SE 1st Ave., the residential building is slated for completion in the first half of 2020. Construction work is being managed by KAST Construction.

The tower will include four floorplans ranging from 1,501 sq. ft. to 2,964 sq. ft., 8,500 sq. ft. of retail, fine dining and a Hyatt Centric hotel featuring 238 guest rooms, elevated private residential amenities and a ground level restaurant/bar with indoor and outdoor seating.

The project designed by SB Architects will also include a resort-style pool, day cabanas, state-of- the-art fitness center, news lounge with daily beverage service, and club room with catering kitchen, bar, formal seating areas, custom audio system and expansive outdoor plaza.

  1. What type of story with the headline that is has does not even mention the height of number of stories in the building? Take a course or two in Journalism.

    • Point taken. Sometimes a little research can take us beyond the limitations of a news release.The story has been revised to include the basic height/size information.
