Florida Hospital to build $25 million medical buildings in Palm Coast

Florida Hospital Flagler is investing $25 million to build two new buildings in Palm Coast.

The hospital plans to purchase six acres near I-95 Exit 293 at Matanzas Woods Pkwy. in northern Flagler County to build an emergency department and a medical office building.

The 12-bed freestanding emergency department will care for both adults and children and will offer imaging and laboratory services, while the new two-story medical office building will be constructed for a variety of physician practices, including primary care and specialists, according to a press statement.

Construction would take 10 months and will begin after the hospital closes on the property and all necessary permits are obtained.

The architect is Orlando-based HuntonBrady.
