Florida’s construction employment rose slightly in April, with a .2 percent increase from the previous month, but in the past year has had one of the nation’s highest employment rate growth rates — at seven percent, ranking the state ninth in the nation.
The Associated General Contractors of America (AGCA) gleaned the data the US Labor Department. Overall, there were 537,000 construction workers in Florida in April, an increase of 1,200 from the month previous, and from 502,100 in April, 2017.
