Construction work begins on Florida Hospital’s new building

Florida Hospital is constructing a $55 million research building, reports Orlando Sentinel.

The five-story project will be the second of at least three planned research buildings in the village, a health-and-wellness community Florida Hospital is developing near its campus at Princeton Street and Orange Avenue, north of downtown.

Windsor Healthcare Equities, a developer in Baltimore, Md., has started site work for the building, which will have 150,000 square feet and will accommodate about 300 employees. It is set to open in early 2016.
