Construction will break ground next month on the new Public Safety Institute building at Eastern Florida State College’s Melbourne Campus.
The college’s board of trustees approved construction of the $14 million project.
State lawmakers have already approved the money, which includes $13.2 million for construction and $800,000 for furnishings and equipment.
