Coastal Construction has reached a milestone with the topping out of a new 30-story residential tower in Tampa, the first of a two-phase development.

The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Tampa, situated along Bayshore Boulevard is being developed by Related Group and designed by Arquitectonica. The residential tower will feature 89 luxury residences and a selection of 12 townhome-style villas with luxurious amenities.

At 350-feet, the tower will be one of the tallest residential buildings along Bayshore Boulevard.

Construction fact by the numbers:

  • 29,000 cubic yards of concrete
  • 2,116 tons of rebar
  • 86,995 square feet of glass
  • 62 miles of electrical conduit
  • More than 340 miles of building wire

During the topping out ceremony, Coastal Construction recognized the men and women who have worked on the building to achieve this important milestone. A magnolia tree was raised to the top of the building to commemorate the topping out.

“Coastal is very proud to be building for the Related Group, one of our most valued clients. This is a landmark project in Tampa, and we are very excited to continue delivering high quality and safe work.” said Sean DeMartino Coastal Construction’s president of Central Florida.

Completion is expected in early 2024.
