Coastal Construction is the general contractor for the new 570,000 sq. ft. Pearl Midtown 29 mixed-use residential project in Miami.

Morgan Group is also developing Pearl Dadeland, a 412-unit apartment building in Miami. That will open in June, Evan Schlecker, Morgan Group’s regional vice president of development told The Real Deal.

Stantec deigned the 20-story Midtown 29  at 180 NE 1st St. with 309 rental apartments and 12,000 sq. ft. of ground-level retail space, Stantec says in a news release. The building will include five floors of parking, outdoor amenities, pool deck and a rooftop terrace.

“Midtown is one of Miami’s most exciting neighborhoods, and we incorporated that vibrancy and energy into the architecture and design of the building,” said architect Jon Cardello.

Midtown 29 is expected to be completed in January 2018.
