Brenner proposes turning Pompano Beach parking lot into eight-story apartment tower

Brenner Real Estate Group has proposed constructing  an eight-story apartment tower in Pompano Beach on a parking lot adjacent to an eight-story office tower, bank branch and parking garage.

225 North Federal Highway LLC, an affiliate of the Fort Lauderdale-based developer  has a pending application to build Atlantic Tower at 163,438 sq. ft. with 147 units.

225 North Federal Highway LLC, an affiliate of the Fort Lauderdale-based developer headed by President and CEO Scott Brenner, has a pending application before the city to build 147 units for a total of 163,438 square feet. The site currently has an eight-story office tower, a bank branch and a parking garage. Brenner said all of those structures would remain and the project, Atlantic Tower, would be built on the parking lot.

Brenner’s company acquired the 3.4-acre site for $4 million in 2000 and selected Boca Raton-based RLC Architects to design the project, according to South Florida Business Journal.
