Amicon Construction, a boutique construction firm in South Florida, announced that it has been picked by Argentina’s Freddo, an ice cream retailer, to build out the chain’s U.S. flagship store.
The project, to be located in Miami Beach, will include an interior demolition and a build-out of the space.
Designed by the architect, Norberto Rosenstein, Freddo’s will feature a 30-seat outdoor café with exterior banquette and tabletop seating, a sleek modern interior, and wall mounted installations that depict Freddo’s artisanal ice-cream making process, according to a press release.
“We are extremely honored that Freddo, a company deeply rooted in tradition, quality, and craftsmanship, has selected Amicon to build its high-profile flagship U.S. store,”Amicon CEO Adam Mopsick said in a statement.
Work is expected to be completed in November 2014.
