Alcrete LLC has completed its acquisition of Florida Concrete Products LLC, a longtime supplier to the Florida Department of Transportation, expanding the company’s footprint into the prestressed concrete bridge market across the state.
Founded in the 1960s, Florida Concrete Products operates out of Florida City and has supplied materials for bridge construction throughout Florida for decades. The acquisition includes the company’s production facilities, equipment and workforce.
“The acquisition of Florida Concrete Products is transformational for Alcrete,” said Justin D. Norman, CEO of Alcrete LLC. “This addition allows Alcrete to enter the prestressed bridge market, expands our existing footprint in the state of Florida for storm and sanitary structures, and positions the company to continue to participate in the state’s growing construction market.”

Alcrete said it will retain Florida Concrete Products’ experienced workforce, which will boost the company’s production capacity and competitiveness in the prestressed bridge segment.
