Work to begin on $6 million Florida Aquarium expansion project

The Florida Aquarium will soon begin construction on the Center for Conservation in Apollo Beach, reports Spectrum Bay News 9.

The $6-million project will feature new greenhouses, a new lab and a new visitor center.

The new space will also expand the aquarium’s Project Coral.

The expansion is expected to be complete in 2021.
