FGBC announces highest scoring green certified projects

The Florida Green Building Coalition (FGBC) recently announced recipients of the 2015 Green Achievement Awards for green building and sustainability excellence during its annual GreenTrends Conference in Orlando in mid-November.

The awards are based on the highest scoring project during the previous calendar year. Categories recognize single- and multi-family residential projects, commercial and high-rise residential buildings, land developments, and local government operations.

With more than 11,000 residential units, 20 million sq. ft. of commercial and high-rise buildings, 79 local governments, and 62 land developments participating in its programs, the FGBC  continues to be the leading certifier of green projects in Florida, the group says.
