CES starts $7 million work at six Orlando projects, appoints new chief operating officer

Longwood-based Comprehensive Energy Services, Inc. (CES) has started $7 million of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing and special effects work at six new Orlando-area projects.

Todd Morgan, co-founder and president, said the work includes: the Florida Advanced Manufacturing Research Center, 200 Semoran Farms Rd., Kissimmee, for Skanska USA Building; Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital first and second floor rooms, for R.C. Stevens Construction Co.; Sanford Burnham Prebys Medical Discovery Institute HVAC, 6400 Sanger Rd., Orlando, for McCree General Contractor; and three theme park related projects.

Meanwhile, the company announced that P.J. Goodwin has become its chief operating officer.  Goodwin previously had been president and principal of a large Florida-based mechanical contractor, CES said in a news release.
